This itinerary is ideal for those seeking a smooth transition from trekking to climbing in the Himalayas. Mera Peak, one of the highest trekking peaks in the world, offers an excellent test of endurance and a great introduction to mountaineering at altitude. Crossing the remote Amphu Laptsa Pass connects you to the Khumbu Valley, where the ascent of Island Peak provides a stunning continuation of the climb under the shadow of Lhotse. Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, and suspension bridges surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Itinerary


Day 1 | Kathmandu (1,350 m): Arrival, hotel transfer, team briefing, rest.

Day 2 | Kathmandu: Final gear prep, permits, city walk, group dinner.

Day 3 | Lukla – Paiya (2,730 m): Flight to Lukla, first trek through Sherpa villages.

Day 4 | Paiya – Pangkongma: Scenic trails and first mountain views.

Day 5 | Pangkongma – Nashing Dingma: Descent and gentle climb through forests.

Day 6 | Nashing Dingma – Cholem Kharka: Enter alpine zone, first camp night.

Day 7 | Cholem – Khola Kharka: Steady climb with panoramic views.

Day 8 | Khola Kharka – Khotte: Descend into lush valleys and warm lodges.

Day 9 | Khotte – Thangnag: Trek along Hinku River, first clear view of Mera Peak.

Day 10 | Thangnag: Acclimatization hikes and rest.

Day 11 | Thangnag – Khare (5,100 m): Steeper ascent to Mera Base Village.

Day 12 | Khare: Glacier training and summit prep.

Day 13 | Khare – Mera Base Camp (5,300 m): Short but high trek to camp.

Day 14 | Base – High Camp (5,800 m): Climb to High Camp, rest for summit push.

Day 15 | Mera Peak Summit (6,476 m): Early ascent, Himalayan panorama, descend to Kongma Dingma.

Day 16 | Kongma – Seto Pokhari: Trek through remote alpine valleys.

Day 17 | Seto – Pachpokhari: Quiet stretch among glacial lakes.

Day 18 | Pachpokhari – Amphu Laptsa BC: Approach technical pass, gear check.

Day 19 | Cross Amphu Laptsa (5,845 m): Technical climb, stunning views, camp on Khumbu side.

Day 20 | To Island Peak Base Camp (4,970 m): Enter Imja Valley, reorganize gear.

Day 21 | Base Camp: Rest, light hikes, summit briefing.

Day 22 | Island Peak Summit (6,189 m): Pre-dawn climb, incredible views, descend to Base Camp.

Day 23 | To Namche Bazaar: Long scenic descent via Tengboche.

Day 24 | To Lukla: Final trekking day, team celebration.

Day 25 | Fly to Kathmandu: Morning flight, relax in the city.

Day 26 | Buffer Day: Extra day for weather or rest.

Day 27 | Departure: Transfer to airport, farewell to Nepal.
